I would have had this up sooner but I got distracted by Harry Potter fics... heh. ^^

So I've finally added the results for the first Drabble Contest, Icon Contest, and the List 10 to the Points page which you may or may not have noticed I posted to Crazy Train & Boardwalk.

So the FIRST Battle doesn't start until May 1, so there won't be anything in the core three communities - Centerfold, Boardwalk, and Crazy Train until then. It isn't until May 1st because our battles end EVERY four months (JFMA / MJJA / SOND). PLUS we need members!

The teams can and hopefully will be active before then... it's up to the members of the team of course. Remember you can do anything in those communities - socialize and whatnot!

HOWEVER if you happen to pimp and someone says you suggested it or of an ad in another community is what brought them here, 5 points will be rewarded to the team whose members posted the pimps. This will go towards the First Battle.

So go forth and pimp the community!

I can't promise you will get the teams you request since EVENTUALLY I will want even numbers in the teams. If you do not have a preference you can say so. Ultimately, what team you play on has little impact - you play the same games and challenges, just with different people. So keep an open mind for which team you wind up on!

There is community corresponding to each team. When you are accepted into a team, I will send you an invite to that team community. Make sure you join it! Plus I will send you invites to xoverboardwalk, xovercrazytrain, and xovercenterfold. Remember you don't have to join ALL three, just Centerfold if you don't do fics/graphics. You can check your invites here.

Basic rules
1. No swearing, you can censor it but it still best if you just don't swear in the community. This way it will be a nicer place for everyone.
2. No bashing of other members, other teams, actors, characters, pairings, crossovers, etc. Everyone has the right to have an opinion, just don't try force yours on anyone else.
3. Everyone is required to participate in at least ONE challenge per BATTLE.
4. You should always vote, but NOT for yourself nor ask anyone to vote for your stuff. You don't HAVE to vote every time, but you should at least vote for every challenge you were apart of. You give your team 5 or 10 points if you vote correctly (following the rules stated).
5. The team leaders are the ones who determine who will be kicked out of the community. Now, their picks will NOT be random and reasonless as they will have to go through me, so as long as you participate & are nice, you're safe.
6. Have fun!

Team rules
1. At the current time, You can change teams only once PER battle, so choose wisely.
2. Most of the challenges require participation from the members and not the team as a whole but if you want a place to meet new people or discuss possible crossovers or discuss films/shows/cartoons/comics - that's the place to do it. Need a little cheer while working on a certain story, this is the place to get it. (Just don't reveal your work or major plot lines if they deal with anything that's gonna be anonymous for the voting)
3. When you participate in a challenge, don't forget to add your team's name, so we could award you the points. If you do NOT have your team name in the subject line, icon, or somewhere in your comment than you will not be awarded points and possibly not even been given a chance to get voted on. SO DON'T FORGET.
4. Don't bash anyone from any of the teams or bash any teams.
5. DO NOT give anyone the answers to the games at xovercenterfold . That will make your team LOSE points.
---> If I'm feeling nice than it'll only be 10 or 20 points... if i'm angry and you've (or your team have) done it more than once, you'll lose either 50 or 100 points.
---> Yeah, so team leaders are responsible to keep an eye out.
---> If you see anyone doing this take a screencap of it and send it to me [even if you're just another member].
6. The team leaders are allowed to have their own set of rules.
7. If you want to promote your communities (preferably general or xover or challenge related comms), you may post a new entry at your Team Community.

Points rules
1. Every challenge/task gives certain amount of points for participation, which is on average 10 points unless stated otherwise. (Points Increase in the last month of each battle)
2. Voting in challenges, even on hiatus, will give you 10 points toward your team.
3. For the winners there are bonus points determined by the difficulty of the challenge.
4. Points are allocated after the challenge/task is over! So don't ask why the points of your team haven't changed if the challenge is still on.
5. For every member added to a team, that team will be given 20 points.
6. Every Four months the battle will be over and there will be one team that have won. After that everything will go back to the beginning and the teams will have zero points and so on.

Hiatus/Leaving rules
1. Since you DON'T have to participate EXCEPT for AT LEAST ONE challenge per Battle, you really don't have to worry about leaving or going on hiatus.
2. If you do leave the community, you are COMPLETELY welcome to come back any time, just simply reapply - keep the same team if it's the same Battle or you may change your team if it's a different Battle here.
3. If you think you should leave the community please let me and your team leader know and delete the comms from your friends.
4. You are ALWAYS welcome back unless you were banned.

The rules have been taken and tweeked to fit this community from legendland .

FAQ  
♥ If you have any questions or concerns, please comment here with them or contact your team leader.

♥ When does the points are restarted to 0?
Basically after 4 months, so that means there are three chances per year for your Team to win.

♥ How much do I have to be active?
Preferably about 90%, lol. But really at the minimal I'd prefer you do is ONE CHALLENGE per Battle. Doesn't matter if its just voting - that's still part of a challenge.

♥ Do I need to join every community?
No, the only community you need to join is your team one, xoverland, and xovercenterfold. xoverboardwalk & xovercrazytrain will need people to vote in them so it's a good idea to at least watch those communities unless your watching xoverland.

♥ What are the limits for the fandoms I can use for this challenge?
Any and every fandom is accepted EXCEPT real-person (actors/musicans/bands/reality tv) stuff. Sorry. You can however mention an actor/band/etc in your work, just they can't ACTUALLY show up in your writing. You can include as many crossovers in a certain writing/graphic/etc as you want unless it is against the rules of a certain contest.

♥ Can I submit something old I've made?
No, you can't - the entry must be new and original.

♥ Can I share my entry with other people?
Not until the challenge's voting is over and the winners are announced to xoverland. After that, go ahead!

♥ Can I submit other people's work?
No, you can't. All graphics (especially for manips for icons & banners) and fanfiction MUST BE MADE BY YOU.

♥ Can I vote for my own entry?
No... it would not be fair to anyone.

♥ What if I can't do a challenge?
Then you don't do it. That's the way things go. If you can't make graphics, it's fine, you can still participate in fics and the other games.

♥ What about spoilers?
If your posting reviews on films/shows/etc, then put all and any spoilers behind an ljcut. If they mix in with description highlight your spoilers like how i'm doing it right now :) . If there is any spoilers in your fics or possibly even your graphics, remember to state the episode(s)/sequel(s)/universe(s) its based on/spoils.

♥ Flareonfury is flareoninsanity?
Yes, I decided to use my personal account 'insanity' because the communities wouldn't be hard to handle to manage with that account while in my 'fury' account had A LOT of communities i'm already a mod of and it would take a lot longer to get to the journal style info stuff. 'insanity' will be the one you will see the Headmistress of this challenge while you can consider 'fury' as just a member/teammate.
* My points go to the team with the lowest points of that challenge.
* I do not participate in Luck games or any games that I would know the answer of prior to announcing the answers.

♥ What about Fusions?
I'm gonna allow them since you are taking main elements from another fandom, but I prefer all crossovers be "true" crossovers. BUT AGAIN, you're not limited to "true" crossovers.

♥ Are the crossovers going to be specific (Just BTVS, SPN, etc) or for each challenge can we pick our own crossover?
Its gonna be mostly you pick your own crossovers, but sometimes I'll give a list of a themed shows/movies/cartoons that you'll have to pick one and crossover it with any fandom you want.

♥ Is Slash/Incest/Bestiality/Genderbends/etc allowed?
Slash and everything else that isn't RPF is allowed here as long you put a warning up for anyone who finds its squicky.

♥ Is there a set rating on entries?
Currently it is PG-13 aka T...

Below is the guide to the challenges posted to xoverboardwalk & xovercrazytrain & xovercenterfold.

xoverboardwalk - G R A P I C S & xovercrazytrain - W R I T I N G S
Both communities have similiar concepts.
Posts will be set out like this (information in brackets is a sample challenge)

---- ♥ THEME (your theme is "kiss", anything from the candy to family to friendship to romantic kiss has to show up in your drabble)
---- ♥ Specifications (200 words, maximum. Can not be less than 100 words.)
---- ♥ Further questions (please respond to the questions thread in this post)

Graphics challenges range from icons, picspams, art work/drawing, wallpapers, etc.
Writing challenges range from fics (word limit is 1000)
Once the ending time is done, your submissions are all posted for voting!
DO NOT SHOW YOUR GRAPHICS/FIC TO ANYONE UNTIL WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED! You will be eliminated from the challenge if you post them anywhere including DA & fanpop.
Graphics should be posted to Imageshack or Photobucket.
Voting - READ THE RULES ALWAYS because they might change per challenge.
NEVER vote for your work.
NEVER ask or demand people to vote for your work. You may however remind people to vote in a challenge.
Please remember to ask questions if you're not sure whats going on.
Once the voting is over, xoverland will have a post to make a summary of who entered, who won and how many points were won per challenges/per week.
Points won per challenge changes per challenge.

xovercenterfold - G A M E S
These are the different games not based in doing fics or graphics.
There are up to two to three games each week.
Each game will require you to post your answer in the comments. All comments are screened which allow you to post your answer without anyone seeing it.
ALWAYS include your team name in your comments.
There is no limit of challenges per week you can do.
Once the game is over, xoverland will have a post to make a summary of who entered and how many points were won per challenges/per week.
Points won per challenge changes from week to week.

xoverland - F I L M D I S C U S S I O N S
Below is the rules for any Film discussions for New films.
Put any spoilers for the film/series behind:

Put any new "Discussion/Questions/poll" in new comments (and have the question/poll in the Subject), or just simply reply to someone's comment.
Respect people's opinions. Your team will lose points if you start an argument or flame someone's opinions.
---- ♥ In that regard, if you disliked the film? Go ahead state so (in a new comment unless someone already stated it before you) and say WHY you disliked it.
Unless the discussion comments/posts start to count towards the Points, you do not have to worry about putting your team name on it.
You can post anything related to the film or the series it may or may not represent - you can post pictures, links to icons or graphics or fanfiction... or gifs or music videos.

BUT... this is where you do it.

Please unjoin the communities, and if you want to come back to your same team, at any time, please comment here as well on your "left" comment.

If you just want to go on a hiatus (less than six months) Please, just let your team leader know so they can put "hiatus" next to your name in the profile.
